Instructions
- Rinse and Soak: Rinse 1 cup of basmati rice under cold water until clear. Soak for 30 minutes, then drain.
- Prepare the Instant Pot: Add the drained rice, 1.5 cups of water or broth, salt, and any optional enhancers to the Instant Pot. Close the lid and set the valve to “Sealing.”
- Cook: Set to high pressure for 6 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
- Fluff and Serve: Open the lid, fluff the rice gently with a fork, and serve.
