  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  2. Add blended chiles, tomato sauce, chipotle peppers, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 4-5 minutes. Stir in lime juice.
  4. Garnish with cilantro. Serve with tortillas or rice.
