These chicken tenderloins with asparagus in herbed lemon butter are cooked to perfection in easy to assemble foil packets!

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Season the Chicken

  1. Combine Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in small bowl. Season each tenderloin (on both sides) with spice mixture.

Make the Foil Packets

  1. Place 6-7 asparagus spears in center of one piece of foil. Place 2 slices of lemon on top of asparagus. Place 3 chicken tenderloins on top of lemons. Cut 1 Tablespoon of butter into 3 pieces. Place one piece on top of each chicken tenderloin. Close and seal packets tightly. Repeat until all foil packets are made. 
  2. Place each foil packet on baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through. Let sit for 3 minutes before serving. Careful opening packets, the steam is hot! Serve. 

Notes

* 3 chicken tenders go in one foil packet, so count your chicken tenders and divide by 3 and that's how many foil packets you make. Our 2lbs of chicken tenderloins yielded 15 tenderloins, so we made 5 foil packets.
