- 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 1/4 cup sake
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- Green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Add chicken, marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Prepare the Skewers: Thread chicken and green onions onto skewers.
- Grill: Heat grill to medium-high. Cook skewers for 4-5 minutes per side, brushing with marinade.
- Serve: Remove from grill, let rest, and enjoy!
