We are in full fledge Summer here in Florida…

I’m talking heat, heat, heat, and occasional rain- which makes it more humid and hot. With 80-90% humidity and ‘it feels like’ 100+ degrees, I can only think of one thing to do…grill with my tank top and flip flops on.

We like to call it Summer grillin’. ;).

And these marinated and grilled Asian beef with garlic kabobs are a surefire hit, baby!

What’s About to Go Down with These Grilled Asian Beef with Garlic Kabobs

  1. Sirloin Steak: marinated in a delish marinade of soy sauce, spices, and sesame oil to give it that Asian flair.
  2. Red Onion: this is THE best onion to grill. It adds so much flavor to the marinated and grilled steak.
  3. Asian Garlic Flair: this is created by combining fresh garlic cloves, ground ginger, brown sugar, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and green onions.

Steps to make these bomb diggity Asian Beef with Garlic Kabobs

These cilantro lime grilled chicken kabobs are a hit with any age. Soy sauce + lime + cilantro + chicken = out of this world and heaven in yo mouth. The avocado cilantro garlic dipping sauce kicks it up a notch and leaves your mouth bursting with flavor!

  1. Marinate the meat– we use a gallon ziplock bag (as you can see above) to marinate the meat in. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight. We like to marinate overnight. Flavor, baby!
  2. Make the skewers– When the meat is done marinating you are going to thread the meat and red onion onto the skewers, #likaboss. Tip: Soak skewers in water (if using wooden ones) 30 min prior to threading. This prevents them from burning through and breaking on the grill.
  3. Grill, baby, grill!- The final step to making these beef with garlic kabobs is to cook them! We like to throw ours on the grill for a total of about 8 minutes (4 min per side).

See, super quick meal even in our 90 degree heat- as long as the tank top and flip flops are on. ;)  Amiright? There’s just something about summer, eh- who am I kidding? I live in FL. It’s tank tops and flip flops like 11 months out of the year! So, we’re always grillin’ and chillin’. 😎

But, in all seriousness, you MUST make these grilled Asian beef with garlic kabobs because as Jax (age 6) always says…”Mommy, these are da bomb diggity and so scrumptious”, so you must follow the kiddos advice, my friends. 😜
