Ingredients

- 1/2 ounce elderflower liqueur, such as St-Germain
- 1 sprig mint, plus 2–3 sprigs for garnish
- 4 ounces Prosecco, chilled
- 1 ounce seltzer, chilled
- Lemon wheel, for garnish
Instructions
- Remove the leaves from one mint sprig. Lightly smack the leaves in your palm to release the oils, then transfer to a chilled white wine glass.
- Fill the glass with ice and then pour in the St. Germain, cooled Prosecco, and seltzer. Stir briefly to mix.
- Garnish the glass with a lemon wheel and 2-3 more mint sprigs.
Notes
- The Hugo Spritz is offered as an aperitif. Aperitifs are intended to be offered before a meal to assist increase your appetite (but without overfilling you!) They have a lower alcohol content and are less sweet.
