Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • 4 fried eggs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
  2. Cook patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, add broth and soy sauce, and bring to a simmer. Stir in cornstarch mixture until thickened.
