- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 cups cooked white rice
- 4 fried eggs
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, add broth and soy sauce, and bring to a simmer. Stir in cornstarch mixture until thickened.
- Serve patties on rice, topped with gravy and fried eggs.
