- Chicken Thighs
- Garlic Cloves
- Soy Sauce
- Honey
- Ketchup
- Sesame Seeds (optional)
- Seasonings: salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning
Steps to Make Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken
- Whisk together garlic cloves, soy sauce, ketchup, and Italian seasonings in a bowl. Set aside.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker. Pour sauce all over chicken.
- Cook on low 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Serve!

This slow cooker honey garlic chicken is so easy to make. Just dump everything in the slow cooker and let it do its thing.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken thighs
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1.5 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1.5 teaspoons sesame seeds (optional)
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In medium bowl whisk together garlic cloves, soy sauce, honey, ketchup, and Italian seasoning. Set aside.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, to taste. Place chicken thighs into slow cooker. Pour sauce over chicken. Cook on low 7-8 hours or high 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked and 165 degrees.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of chicken. Serve.
Could you do legs or wings to make more pieces? Would that be less cooking time?
You could def do legs and wings! I have never done them before so I can’t really comment on how long those would take. I would start with an hour less on high or low, and check the internal temp of the chicken to see if it requires more cooking time. HTH!
