- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Pickle slices
- 4 hamburger buns
- Butter
- Ingredients of Chick-fil-A sauce (honey, mustard, BBQ sauce, mayo)
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- Combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Dredge chicken in flour mixture and fry in hot oil for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Toast buns with butter.
- Assemble sandwiches with pickle slices, fried chicken, and any extra condiments.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less cayenne pepper to suit your taste.
- For a fun twist, try adding some shredded lettuce or a slice of cheese!
