Ingredients

  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease ramekins and place them in a baking dish.
  2. Heat heavy cream until steaming. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Slowly whisk in cream to temper the eggs. Fold in crab meat and chives.
  4. Pour the mixture into ramekins, set them in a water bath, and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Top with panko breadcrumbs and broil until golden. Serve warm.
