Ingredients

  • 3 packs of ramen noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil, sauté onion and garlic, then add ground meat and cook until browned.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half the mozzarella, egg, and seasoning.
  5. Layer marinara, ramen, cheese mix, meat, and repeat in a baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan, bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncovered for 10 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Garnish with basil and serve.

Notes

  • Want a veggie version? Swap the meat for sautéed mushrooms or zucchini!
  • If you’re feeling adventurous, try different ramen flavors for a twist.
  • We use it with Tropical Fruit Salad (great actually).
